Thomas P. Slater was born in Des Moines, Iowa and has lived there all his life. After graduating from North High School in 1972, he attended Central College in Pella, Iowa, majoring in the humanities and graduating cum laude in 1976.
Michael T. Norris was born in Clarinda, Iowa. He spent his childhood on his family farm just south of there and attended South Page High School in College Springs, Iowa. While living on a farm with his parents, Mr. Norris developed a strong work ethic which has served him well throughout his legal career.
